年龄：16 - 18 （12-13年级）

佛山市霍利斯外籍人员子女学校提供英国普通中等教育证书考试高级水平课程（A Level）的教学。已经完成IGCSE阶段的霍利斯学生将会直接进入A Level阶段的学习，继续在佛山霍利斯享受优质的英式国际教育。

凭着A Levels成绩，学生们能够申请许多国家的大学，而不是仅仅只是英国。A Level课程能够培养学生的良好学习习惯和严谨的学习态度，提升他们对学科知识了解的深度，为他们日后在大学学习打好基础。在英国，A Levels相当于是大学的入学考试，在其他许多国家，A Levels也受到广泛的认可和重视，通过A Levels申请大学，能够让学生的升学之路更加顺利。

佛山霍利斯12-13年级团队由 Mrs Kirk 领衔，她是12-13年级主任及数学学科创始主任，拥有30多年的丰富教育经验，全面负责12-13学级的各个方面。

12-13年级副主任及英语学科主任 Ms Stevens 和 美国升学顾问 Mr Molinari 一起帮助学生准备申请大学，指导他们寻找最适合自己发展的未来道路。

同时，12-13年级寄宿部主任 Mrs MacDonald 确保寄宿生活井然有序，为学生提供一个充满支持的学习和生活环境。

此外，英语学科副主任 Mr Duckworth 和化学学科主任 Dr Emmerton 同时兼任12-13年级导师职责，为学生提供指导。

通常情况下学生们需要选择学习至少三门学科，选择范围包括：

除主修的3或4门A Level科目外，体育（非A-Level考试科目），PSHE（个人、社会、健康和财商教育）以及雅思考试。

佛山霍利斯的12-13年级中心是为高年级学生量身打造的专属空间，帮助他们顺利过渡到更独立的学习阶段。该中心位于Gryphon 宿舍楼，同时也是12-13年级寄宿生的住宿区域，提供一个既专注学术又注重个人成长的环境。

12-13年级中心拥有灵活布局的教室，便于合作学习，独立学习区则为专注学习提供了理想空间。这里还设有社交休息区，让学生在紧张学习之余放松交流。中心配备厨房和娱乐设施，鼓励学生在学业与生活之间找到平衡，培养成熟且健康的学习生活方式。

现代化的宿舍环境给予学生们充足的设施支持，针对高年级开放的二人间宿舍、宽敞明亮的公共社交区域，以及个人和小组自习室等，让他们可以保持充足精力，面对每日的充实校园生活和学习任务。

我们自豪地庆祝首届创校毕业班——2024届学生所取得的卓越成绩。这批创校学生取得了67% 的A*-A成绩率和93%的A*-C成绩率，远超英国平均水平，开创了卓越的学术传统。

A Level

AGES: 16 - 18 (YEAR 12 - 13)

LEH International School Foshan offered the prestigious Advanced Level Qualifications Programme (A Level) to our Sixth Form students. This will enable LEH students finishing their IGCSEs to continue their top-level British Education in Foshan in Year 12 and 13.

The A Levels help prepare students for university all over the world and not only in the UK. They are a great introduction to the study habits, the rigour and the deep content knowledge required at university. In the UK they have been designed as university entrance exams, nevertheless, they are widely valued all over the world and they will allow you to have a smooth admissions process.

Leading the Sixth Form team is Mrs Kirk, our Head of Sixth Form and Founding Head of Mathematics. With over 30 years of teaching experience, Mrs Kirk oversees all aspects of the Sixth Form. 

She is supported by Ms Stevens, Deputy Head of Sixth Form, who, alongside Mr Molinari, USA University Counsellor, helps students prepare for their university applications. Together, they guide students through their A Levels and help them find the best path for their future. 

Meanwhile, Mrs MacDonald, Head of Sixth Form Boarding, ensures that life in the boarding house runs smoothly, offering a warm and supportive environment beyond academics. 

We also have Mr Duckworth, Deputy Head of English, and Dr Emmerton, Head of Chemistry as Tutors for our Sixth Form students.

Students typically study a minimum of three subjects. Available subjects include:

The compulsory core of Physical Education, Personal, Health and Social Education and Critical Thinking will enhance a programme of 3 or 4 A Level subjects.

At LEH Foshan, we are dedicated to guiding our Sixth Form students through every step of the university application process. From selecting the right A Level subjects to preparing for IELTS, our teachers and advisors provide comprehensive support. We assist with UCAS applications, personal statement writing, interview preparation, and gaining community service experience.

Our bespoke Sixth Form booklet helps students identify their strengths and areas for growth, ensuring personalised learning support and tailored university advice. With leadership opportunities through the Student Council, Prefect roles, a charity club and more, we prepare students to stand out in their university applications and beyond.

The Sixth Form Centre at LEH Foshan is a dedicated space designed to support our senior students as they transition to a more independent phase of their education. Situated within the Gryphon block, which also serves as the Sixth Form boarding house, this centre provides an environment tailored to promote both academic focus and personal growth.

The centre features flexible classrooms to enhance collaboration, private study areas for focused learning, and a social space where students can relax and connect. Complete with a kitchen and recreational options, the Centre encourages students to balance their studies with moments of relaxation, fostering a mature, balanced approach to life and learning.

Our boarding facilities for senior students are thoughtfully designed to foster independence while providing a comfortable, supportive environment. Senior students benefit from twin rooms that offer both privacy and the chance to build friendships. With inviting social areas for relaxation and well-equipped study rooms for focused work, our boarding programme creates an ideal balance between study and downtime, helping students stay engaged, refreshed, and ready to succeed.

We are proud to celebrate the exceptional achievements of our founding class – Class of 2024. This pioneering cohort set a high standard, achieving 67% A*-A grades and 93% A*-C grades—significantly surpassing UK averages and establishing a strong academic legacy.
