由浙江大学主办，浙江大学电气工程学院承办，青岛大学、西安交通大学、中国自动化学会数据驱动控制、学习与优化专业委员会协办的2024年第四届控制理论与应用国际会议（ICoCTA 2024）将于2024年10月18-20日在中国杭州盛大召开。

会议内容将围绕控制理论与应用的最新研究领域，为来自世界各地的研究人员、工程师、科学家和行业专业人士提供一个分享经验、交流新思想以及展示研究成果的平台。会议将探讨控制理论及应用领域的关键挑战和研究方向，并推动该领域的理论和技术在高校和企业的发展和应用。热忱欢迎从事相关技术研究的专家学者踊跃投稿并参加本次会议！

Brief Introduction:

C. L. Philip Chen is the Chair Professor and Dean of the College of Computer Science and Engineering South China University of Technology. He is a Fellow of IEEE, AAAS, IAPR, CAA, CAAI, and HKIE; a member of Academia Europaea (AE), and a member of European Academy of Sciences and Arts (EASA). In 2018, he received the IEEE Norbert Wiener Award for his contributions in systems, cybernetics, and machine learning. He also received the IEEE Joseph G. Wohl Outstanding Career award and two best transactions paper awards from IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems in 2014 and 2018. Dr. Chen's current research interests include cybernetics, systems, and computational intelligence. He has served as Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics and the IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems. He was also President of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society. 

Brief Introduction:

Professor Kemin Zhou serves as the director of the Center for Advanced Control and Smart Operations at Nanjing University Suzhou Campus. His main research areas involve robust control, multi-objective optimization, robust control of hysteresis nonlinear systems, fault diagnosis, and fault-tolerant control, among others. He has received numerous honors, including the Overseas Outstanding Youth Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2004, Changjiang Lecture Professor in 2004, National Distinguished Expert in 2009, IEEE Fellow in 2003, AAAS Fellow in 2012, IFAC Fellow in 2013, and the Fellow of the Chinese Automation Association in 2017.

Brief Introduction: 

Dr. Fumin ZHANG is the Chair Professor and Director of the Cheng Kar-Shun Robotics Institute at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.  He is also a Dean’s Professor adjunct in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His research interests include mobile sensor networks, maritime robotics, control systems, and theoretical foundations for cyber-physical systems.  He has received several awards including the NSF CAREER Award in September 2009 and the ONR Young Investigator Program Award in April 2010.  Dr. Zhang currently serves as co-chair for the IEEE RAS Technical Committee on Marine Robotics, associate editor for several prestigious journals including IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, IEEE Transactions on Control of Networked Systems, ect.  He is also a Fellow of IEEE.

Brief Introduction:

Shinji Hara earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, in 1974, 1976, and 1981 respectively. From 2002 to 2017, he was a Full Professor at the University of Tokyo.  He is currently a Professor Emeritus at both institutions.  His research interests include robust control, decentralized cooperative control for large-scale networked dynamical systems, system biology, and glocal control.  Dr. Hara has received numerous awards in control including the George S. Axelby Outstanding Paper Award from the IEEE Control System Society in 2006.  He served as President of SICE (Society of Instrument and Control Engineers, Japan) in 2009 and Vice President of the IEEE Control Systems Society from 2009 to 2010.  Additionally, he was an IFAC Council member from 2011 to 2017 and is a Fellow of IFAC, IEEE, and SICE."
