Part 1: What would you do to relax?

Doing sports

Running; Jogging慢跑

Playing music

Dancing

Receiving a nice massage按摩

Sleeping; taking a nap

Reading (because it brings me different perspectives)

City walk; wandering around

Spending time with nature

Hiking徒步/远足

Eating

Snowboarding trip 滑雪

Traveling


Part 2: Do you think doing sports is a good way to relax?

Yes:

Exercise can stimulate the release of dopamine 促进分泌多巴胺

拓展:

1.Dopamine helps you feel happy and satisfied, reducing stress and anxiety, and even alleviating symptoms of depression. 多巴胺能让人感到愉快和满足,减轻压力和焦虑,甚至缓解抑郁症状

2.It also supports neuronal health, potentially lowering the risk of neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson’s. 多巴胺还能保护神经元,减缓神经退行性疾病(如帕金森病)的风险

3.Going to gym could be stressful as well, the gym is full of all kinds of people, and some might judge your body or criticize whether your workout moves is correct or not, which can create a lot of pressure for beginners. 健身房有形形色色的人,有些人喜欢打量/评论其他的身材或健身姿势是否标准等等



Part 3: Do you think vacation is a good time to relax?

Yes:

1.It allows you to recharge yourself by having a little bit of ME time

2.It may help increase your productivity or improve your performance at work or study after the trip. 旅游后神清气爽,工作/学习也更给力了

3.It gives you a chance to explore different sides of the world. 探索世界


No:

1.Going on vacation during holidays is often very crowded with people. 旅游人挤人

2.You can get physically tired by traveling and mentally exhausted as well since you’ll have to do lots of preparations before hand like booking hotels, finding restaurants, forming out a route, etc. 旅游后身心俱疲,旅游要制定路线/做攻略很麻烦


In all, everyone feels different ways about taking sports or going on vacations as their way to relax, let’s respect different views~



Part 4: Do you thinkstudents need more relaxing time?

Yes:

1.Students have spent so much time on study

2.Not only do they have lots of classes to attend during schools, it’s also fairly common that most of them will continue to spend time studying with a family tutor during vacations.上学忙着上课,放假忙着请家教补习

3.Spending too much time studying is not necessarily in line with the end pursued, sometimes it does the opposite, because your productivity will decrease if you don’t spend proper time to recharge yourself.学习太久反而让你的效率降低,反而不利于取得好成绩

4.They should be allowed to explore themselves and find what they they truly love.探索他们的兴趣爱好


No:

1.It really depends on the student him/herself. Some students have already spent too much chilling, especially on electronic products, as a result, they often perform poorly on their academic study

2.It’s not about giving/dumping them more time to relax, it’s more about teaching them how to manage their time and learn to balance their study and personal interests
