重温好故事,和孩子一起成长。最近艾玛读绘本公众号会在发布新内容的同时,重温之前讲过的好故事,方便新来的小伙伴们阅读和收听。
《牛津树中国故事》整套18册,对标牛津阅读树分级体系中的3、4、5阶三个级别,每阶各6本。从L3开始,句子重复性逐渐弱化(L3仍然有重复的句式),而故事性增强。L3-L5的难度依次递增,主要体现在词汇量、句子长短上。
简单来说,China Story是学校版的补充,可以作为L3-5的拓展阅读读本。

"Wow!" said Biff. "A panda!"

Lin and Mum had to go on a bus.

"I have never seen a panda on the bus!" said a man.
一个男人说:“我还从来没有在公交车上见到过大熊猫呢!”
"It is a panda," children said.
"It is fun to see a panda."
孩子们说:“有一只大熊猫。”

Lin and Mum got to the park.
Lin和妈妈去了公园。
Lin ran to the picnic.
Lin跑到了野餐得地方。
Oh no!
哦不!
It was not a panda picnic.
原来不是熊猫主题的野餐,
It was just a picnic.
只是普通的野餐而已。
Mum was upset.
妈妈很沮丧。
"You said it was a panda picnic," she said.
她对其他妈妈们说:“你们说这是个熊猫主题的野餐的呀。”
"No!" they said.
妈妈们说:“不是的。”
"We planned a picnic.
It is not a panda picnic."
“我们是组织了一次野餐,
但不是熊猫主题的野餐。”
"But this is good," the children said.
"We need a panda at the picnic."
孩子们说:“但这样很好啊。
我们需要一只大熊猫来野餐。”
The mums took pictures of Lin and the children.
妈妈们给Lin和其他孩子拍照。
Lin felt a lot better.
Lin觉得开心多了。
It was fun to be a panda.

"No bamboo shoots for this panda," said Mum.

Q3: Look at pages 14-15. How do you think Lin feels now? How have her feelings changed throughout the story?

A3: I think she feels happy now.
At first, when Lin saw the panda costume, Lin felt excited. But when she realized Mum made a mistake, she felt embarassed. Then, when everybody liked her costume, she felt happy again.
