Line A
Our Guangzhou City walk line A starts from Yide Road, passes by the Shishi Sacred Heart Cathedral, Aiqun Mansion, Thirteen Hongs Museum, and Canton Customs, finally arriving at Shamian Island. The entire journey is approximately 3-4 kilometers, with a tour duration of about 3 hours. Starting from August 10th, groups will depart every Saturday at 10 a.m.

Yide Road is a historical street famous for its wholesale markets, especially those selling dried goods and herbs. It is a bustling commercial area with a mix of old and new buildings.

Shishi Sacred Heart Cathedral is a magnificent Gothic structure that serves as the cathedral of the Catholic Diocese of Guangzhou.

Aiqun Mansion (or "Oi Kwan Hotel" in Cantonese) is one of the early comprehensive high-rise buildings in GZ. It was once one of the landmark buildings, witnessing the development process of GZ since modern times.

The Thirteen Hongs Museum showcases the history of China's ancient foreign trade, especially the history of the Guangzhou Thirteen Hongs, through various artifacts and exhibitions, allowing visitors to understand the rich trading traditions and cultural relics of this region.

The Canton Customs is one of the earliest and most important customs in China, was established in the mid-Qing Dynasty.

06.Shamian
The history of Shamian Island in Guangzhou dates back to the mid-19th century. During the Second Opium War, Shamian Island was designated as a residential area for foreign nationals, known as the "Shamian Concession". It subsequently developed into a vibrant commercial and residential quarter, featuring an array of architectural styles from various countries including French, British, and Italian.
