Dr. Dawei Lu:
Associate Professor；
Course Leader for supply chain and logistics management course.
- Developed his entire career over the last 35 years at the University of Warwick.
- Achieved his PhD from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1987, and his MBA from Birmingham University (UK).
Dr. Lu has supervised 26 PhD students, generated research income over £1.3million, published 3 books, 32 peer-reviewed international journal articles, and 29 international conference papers. His Google Scholar Citation index is over 1000. On the international stage, Dr Lu is a Fellow of the World Institute of Management; a visiting professor to two reputable international universities, and a non-executive director of two logistics organizations.
Dr. Lu has been a long-standing course leader for the SCLM course in WMG, which has been ranked No.1 in the subject category in the UK for consecutive seven years. He is also a Senior Fellow of the High Education Academy (SFHEA) – one of the top prestige scholarly academies in the UK. He currently holds the position of International Academic Director for the China region. He worked closely with Professor Load Bhattacharyya (Founder of WMG) and developed WMG’s first Chinese executive summer programme, created the first collaboration programme with China’s State Council.
