《面纱之河》是一部深情描绘中国西部边陲——吐鲁番地区独特水利奇观坎儿井的纪录片。影片以“吐鲁番地下母亲河”为核心主题，缓缓展开一幅幅关于自然智慧与人类勤劳交织的壮丽画卷。影片通过细腻的镜头语言，将坎儿井的古老故事与当下维吾尔族人民平凡而真实的生活紧密相连。这些故事里，充满了对自然的敬畏、对生活的热爱以及邻里间互帮互助的温情，展现了中华民族勤劳善良、自强不息的精神风貌。
“The Veiled River” is a documentary that depicts the unique water wonders of Karez in Turpan, the western frontier of China. With “Turpan's underground mother river” as the core theme, the movie slowly unfolds a magnificent picture of the interweaving of natural wisdom and human hard work. Through delicate camera language, the movie closely connects the ancient story of Karez with the ordinary and real life of Uyghur people nowadays. These stories are full of reverence for nature, love of life and the warmth of mutual help among neighbors, showing the spirit of the Chinese people's diligence, kindness and self-improvement.

My keyword is warming, because Turpan is a place of high temperatures but also of good and loving people who received me with much love. After coming to China and experiencing the the faction and the love of the people here I can say that I didn't knew much about China before coming here. I realize that China is a place of multiple varieties of people of languages of food. It's just amazing. And I think that I've learned a lot after coming here about hospitality about variety.
我的关键词是“温暖”，因为吐鲁番是一个高温的地方，但也有着善良和有爱的人们，他们用很多爱接纳了我。在我来到中国，感受了这里的气氛和人们的爱之后，我意识到我在来中国之前对这里知之甚少。中国是一个有着多元民族、多种方言、多种食物的地方，这十分令人惊讶。来到这里后，我增长了许多对待客之道和多样性的认识。

我的关键词是“热烈”。首先是因为我们的拍摄日期是吐鲁番当地最热的时候，气温高达45度，地表温度可能高达六七十度，在这样的条件下进行拍摄是非常辛苦的；其次是我们遇到的拍摄对象都是非常热情善良的人，他们在如此炎热的天气下配合我们拍摄各种场景，在我们设备出现了一些问题以后还会配合我们再重新拍一遍。在这个过程中，我们还遇到了一位司机，他每天都接送我们在酒店和拍摄地的三四十公里之间往返，把我们看作自己的孩子一样。所以我觉得，热烈是我对这个拍摄过程的关键词。
My keyword is heat. Firstly, because our shooting date was during the hottest time of the year in Turpan, with a temperature of up to 45 degrees Celsius, and the ground temperature could be up to 60-70 degrees Celsius, it was very tough to shoot under such conditions; secondly, the people we met during the shoot were all very warm-hearted and kind, who cooperated with us to shoot various scenes in such hot weather, and even re-shot some scenes with us when our equipment malfunctioned. During this process, we also met a driver who drove us back and forth between our hotel and the shooting location, which was about 30-40 kilometers away, treating us like his own children. So I think heat is the keyword for this shooting process.
