“楮先生”是古代中国对纸张的别称。《楮先生》展现了“我是楮先生”工作室的两位创始人崔振硕和杨波对手工纸的坚守与热爱，他们从中国各地收集古法造纸，开发纸的应用场景，以纸铺为桥梁传播纸的知识和文化。
Paper Home tells the story of the 2 owners of a paper shop,Mr. Cui and Mr. Yang's love for Chinese handmade paper. They collect handmade paper from all over the world. Mr. Cui and Mr. Yang treat paper with love. It can be seen from how they treat paper as the main material of handcrafting so that it can be accepted in all circles. The Paper Shop they built is a medium to spread the knowledge of paper.

Mr. Cui and Mr. Yang exhibit an immense passion for paper. They handle each sheet with the delicacy of cloth, indicating a profound understanding that transcends mere commerce. Establishing paper displays and opening a paper store is not just for business; it's a labor of love and respect for the craft. What I mean is, their affection for paper is genuine. They are committed to sharing the beauty of paper with everyone they can reach, which has taught me that when we create with love and passion, others can feel that energy too.
They are incredibly welcoming, especially to foreigners like us. They show a keen interest in what we are doing there. They reciprocate the warmth and acceptance. And that's how things unfold smoothly.
Initially, I was worried and afraid, concerned about taking up their time. But as we progress, I can see and feel that they are also enjoying this project. For this, I am truly thankful.
崔先生和杨先生对纸张充满热情。他们像对待珍宝一样用布料呵护每一张纸，并且他们对纸张的了解远不止于商业层面。他们不仅建立了纸架，开设了纸店，更出于对纸张的深爱和尊重。我认为他们对纸张的热爱是真挚的。他们致力于将纸张的美好传播给每一个能够触及的人，这让我深刻体会到，当我们以爱与热情去做某件事时，其他人也能感受到那份能量。
他们非常友好，尤其是对我们这些外国人。他们对我们要做的事情也表现出浓厚的兴趣，热情地接纳我们。是他们的帮助让拍摄得以顺利的推进。
我曾担心和害怕自己会耽误他们的时间。但在这个过程中，我可以看到，我能感觉到他们也在享受这个项目，我对此心存感激。

我想用“勇敢”来形容这次经历。首先，我认为我的导演非常勇敢。她独自一人，从自己的国家跨越到中国这个陌生之地，尽管之前没有出国的经历，但她还是毅然决然地来了。在拍摄过程中她对我们的项目充满信任，也对中国充满信任，这种勇气非常可贵。
同时，我们的拍摄对象——纸铺的老板和店员们，他们同样展现另一种非凡的勇气。为了自己热爱的事业和文化，他们选择了不那么稳定的生活方式，决定自己创业，追随自己的热情。我认为他们也是勇敢的人。
对于我自己而言，这是我第一次参与跨文化的项目，也是我第一次与外国朋友如此长时间地相处。因此，这对我来说既是一次挑战，也是一次宝贵的经历。我选择用“勇敢”这个词来描述这一切。
