先说一下我的情况，我考了三次雅思，前两次口语都是5.5分，第三次的时候拿到了7.0！有点小惊喜但是也是意料之中吧～
我英语基础其实还行，可惜是个“哑巴”，平时几乎不开口说英语，对口语一直有畏难情绪。但在不断练习过程中发现，不开口可能不是性格问题，而是不知道说什么好。
我在复盘中逐渐意识到这一点，因为当问题与我亲身经历相关，是感兴趣的内容，确实可以做到滔滔不绝。但面对不相干的话题时，回答就需要用到一些技巧了。
那为了能让大家更直观的感受到怎么去提高口语，那我就拿这季题库里的一道题目来举例吧，希望大家能够通过我这个答案get到自己后续备考的一个侧重点啦！

One of the most memorable people I met at a party was a woman named Jessica. The party was a colleague’s wedding reception, held at a beautiful banquet hall. It was an elegant event with live music, delicious food, and an atmosphere filled with joy and celebration.
Jessica is a travel blogger in her late twenties, and she had a vibrant and outgoing personality. We met at the cocktail hour and quickly struck up a conversation.
We started by talking about our mutual friend, the bride, and how we each knew her. Soon, our conversation shifted to Jessica's travels. She had visited over 50 countries, and her stories were
incredibly captivating. She told me about her adventures in South America, exploring the Amazon rainforest, and her experiences with different cultures and cuisines. 首先呢，雅思口语评分标准的第一个环节是流利度和连贯性，这个答案整体就是流利且连贯，没有明显的停顿或重复。话题自然展开，从派对开始，到人物介绍，再到谈话内容，最后总结了为什么喜欢和这个人交谈。
接下来呢就是词汇多样性，答案里使用了丰富的词汇，比如说
“approachable demeanor”
“engaged in a deep conversation”
“revolutionize”“enthusiastic”
“enriching and stimulating”
这些展示了词汇的多样性和丰富性。
那大家在积累词汇的时候，我自己觉得比较好用的一个方法就是直接去求助自己的老师。虽然我是自学选手，但是当时为了能够有效提高备考效率还是找了专业的外教口语老师来进行练习。
练习过程中，老师给我补充了非常多的相关词汇，然后我就开始尝试用老师提供的这些词汇用到自己的答案里，这样词汇方面提高还是比较明显的。
接下来呢就是语法结构，答案里可以尝试使用多种语法结构，比如复合句和从句（“One of the most memorable people I met at a party was a gentleman named David.”、“What I enjoyed most about talking with David was his ability to explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.”）。
说到这里可能很多同学都有点小焦虑，包括我自己最开始其实也不是很会使用这些复杂的结构，但是也是在不断的练习中从简单句变成复合句，刻意去多使用从句，这样就会更敢于开口。
最后就是答案里要多多cue到细节，以及多多地去举例子，提供了丰富的细节，如派对的背景、人物的职业、谈话的具体内容和个人感受，整个答案就能具体且生动。
口语一定一定一定要多练，“哑巴”不完全是性格问题，有时是没有底气，不知道有什么能说。
只有通过自己多说才能够知道自己出现问题的地方是在哪里，然后针对自己的问题进行针对性的训练，这样提分就理所应当，没有那么困难啦！
