影片简介
Embassy Alley explores Dongjiaomin, the longest hutong in Old Beijing, Formerly the seat of foreign embassies, Dongjiaomin is now a vibrant site of everyday Beijing life. The film takes an observatory approach, portraying the experience of one day in the alley. Compassing the length of the street, from the unique St. Michael’s church to a famous eye hospital, this film captures vignettes of Beijing lives through a series of tableaux. By experimenting with sound and sequencing, it considers the nature of observing and being observed, perceiving and being perceived.
《东交印象》探索北京旧城最长的胡同——东交民巷。作为外国使馆的旧址，东交民巷现已成为北京日常生活的活力之地。创作团队采用观察式的拍摄视角，描绘了一天中当地居民在胡同间的真实的生活体验，通过一系列的场景片段构建了北京生活的缩影。
