It has become a routine for GF to organize summer day trip to explore a cool place for chill and cool off in the water. We visited Qixi in Zhongshan, and last year we explored Conghua in depth. This year, we teamed up with Banana Tour to take everyone to Guanyin Mountain in Qingyuan!
每年暑假GF都会组织出游，带大家到一地游览并玩水消暑。2022年我们到访中山旗溪，去年则前往从化，今年我们将联手Banana Tour带大家一起畅游清远观音山！

Guanyin Mountain 观音山

Guanyin Mountain is located in Fogang County, Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province. It is one of the eight famous mountains in Guangdong, known for its unique natural landscape and profound Buddhist culture. With an elevation of 1,288 meters, Guanyin Mountain is the highest peak in central Guangdong.
清远观音山位于广东省清远市佛冈县，是广东八大名山之一，以其独特的自然景观和深厚的佛教文化底蕴著称。观音山海拔1288米，为粤中第一高峰。
王山寺
Wangshan Temple
The area is surrounded by clouds and mist all year round, maintaining the original forest ecological environment. Since the Northern Song Dynasty, Guanyin Mountain Wangshan Temple has been a pilgrimage site for many Buddhist believers. The mountain looks like a reclining statue of Guanyin, with both the spirit and the form present, so it is named Guanyin Mountain.
该区域常年云雾缭绕，保持着原始森林生态环境，自北宋以来，观音山王山寺就是众多佛教信徒朝圣的地点，其山峦姿态仿佛观音卧像，神形俱在，故得名观音山。
徒步野餐
Hiking Picnic
After visiting Wangshan Temple, we will start hiking on Guanyin Mountain and enjoy the natural and beautiful scenery along the way. The Guanyin Mountain area is shrouded in clouds and mist, maintaining the original forest ecological environment. The entire scenic area is high in mountains and lush in forests. It is named because its mountain posture is like a reclining statue of Guanyin, with both spirit and form present.
游览王山寺后，我们将开始徒步观音山，欣赏沿途自然旖旎的风光。观音山区域云雾缭绕，保持着原始森林生态环境，整个风景区山高林茂，因其山峦姿态仿佛观音卧像，神形俱在，因而得名。
At noon, we will rest under the shade of the trees by the stream, spread out our picnic mats, and enjoy the rich lunch carefully prepared by the famous French bakery Perma for this trip:
中午时分，我们将在溪边的树荫下休息，铺开野餐垫，享用城中著名法式烘焙店Perma朴门为本次行程精心准备的丰富午餐：

Lunch includes perma special made pita sandwiches, cold cut ham, nuts, selected cheeses and fruits, ensuring delicious, nutritious and healthy lunch.
午餐包括朴门特别制作的皮塔三明治，冷切火腿，坚果，精选芝士和水果等，确保美味营养又健康。
瀑布消暑
Waterfall Fun
After lunch, we took a bus to the Longtan Waterfall at the foot of Guanyin Mountain. The entire waterfall is 60 meters wide and has a drop of 100 meters. From a distance, it looks like a white silk hanging in the sky, and from a close distance, it looks like a silver snake dancing. We can soak in the deep pool in front of the waterfall and enjoy the frozen watermelon soaked in the pool water to completely eliminate the summer heat.
午餐后，我们一起乘车前往观音山脚的龙潭瀑布。整个瀑布宽60米，落差达100米，远望如白练当空，近看似银蛇飞舞。我们可在瀑布前的深潭浸泡戏水，并享用潭水浸泡的冰冻西瓜，彻底消除盛夏暑气。

11:00-11:30 Visit Wangshan Temple 参观王山寺
11:30-12:30 Hiking in Guanyin Mountain 徒步游览小型瀑布群
12:30-13:30 Riverside Picnic溪边野餐及休息
13:30-14:30 Return to the Entrance 下山乘车
14:30-15:00 Head to the waterfall 前往龙潭瀑布
15:00-16:00 Waterfall Fun 瀑布玩水
16:00-18:00 Return to Tianhe 返程天河
