11月12日15时13分，钟某驾驶桂KJ***8号普通二轮摩托车沿国道324线由玉林往容县方向行驶，陈某芳驾驶桂KQ***8的普通二轮摩托车沿国道324线由容县往玉林方向行驶，双方行至国道324线1422公里500米时，由于钟某驾车闯直行红灯，致使两车发生碰撞，事故造成陈某芳受伤、车辆损坏，所幸事发时两位驾驶人均正确佩戴了安全头盔，陈某芳受轻伤，头部没有受伤。
经认定：钟某未按交通信号通行，其行为违反《中华人民共和国道路交通安全法》相关规定，在本次事故中承担全部责任。

闯红灯的危害
1.破坏通行规则。红绿灯的作用是合理分配车辆，保证车辆和行人的通行安全、有序。而闯红灯严重破坏了路权分配规则。
2.容易造成交通事故。闯红灯行为容易增加交通事故的发生率，危害极大。对于驾驶机动车闯红灯的交通违法行为，驾驶人将面临被罚款、记分的行政处罚。
