About the position
Özyeğin University invites applications for one Master’s and two Ph.D. students to join innovative research projects focusing on city logistics and machine learning techniques. The projects aim to tackle real-world urban transportation and logistics challenges by leveraging advanced machine learning algorithms to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and develop smart city logistics solutions. This work will significantly contribute to the advancement of sustainable urban logistics.
Start Date: February 2025
Scholarship and Benefits
Doctorate Scholarship Package (Package A):
Monthly Net Stipend: 34,000 TL
Accommodation: Free dorm room (double occupancy) or 6,000 TL transportation subsidy (monthly)
Qualification Bonus: 5,000 TL (monthly) after passing the qualification exam
Private Health Insurance: Comprehensive coverage
Technology Support: Laptop or desktop computer
Conference Participation: Fully funded at least once during the program
Tuition Waiver: 100%
Requirement
We are seeking exceptional candidates with the following qualifications:
For Ph.D. Positions:
A Master’s degree in operational research, computer science, industrial engineering, applied mathematics, or a related field.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of operational research, machine learning, and data analysis
Hands-on experience with mathematical programming, modeling, and metaheuristic algorithms
Proficiency in Python and C++ programming
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Fluency in spoken and written English
