VONMO第五届2026“入地SEEDING”主题当代首饰艺术展项目(点击查看)自2023年10月16日(即第四届展览开幕式上)启动以来截止2024年6月10日,我们收到了来自全球38个国家262位/组艺术家的投稿。后由我们国际评审团的六位艺术家:Catarina Silva(葡萄牙),Gigi Mariani(意大利),Jivan Astfalck (德国),Maria Rosa Franzin(意大利),王克震 Wang Kezhen(中国),赵祎 Zhao Yi(中国),秉持专业、公平、公正、公开的原则进行评分,最终筛选出147位/组艺术家入围展览。即日发起公示,如有异议请联系策展人李颖臻Felicia Li:feliciavonmo@gmail.com。现将评选结果公示如下:The 2026 VONMO “SEEDING” 5th Contemporary Jewelry Exhibition(Click here to view) has attracted public attention since its launch on 16th October, 2023. As of June 10, 2024, altogether 262 artists from 38 countries have contributed their works. Upon selection by the six artists in our international jury, namely, Catarina Silva (Portugal), Gigi Mariani (Italy), Jivan Astfalck (Germany), Maria Rosa Franzin (Italy), Wang Kezhen (China), Zhao Yi (China) in a professional, fair, impartial and open manner, 147 pieces are shortlisted for the Exhibition. The diversity of the ‘seeds’ was also necessary to enrich the exhibition. However, the fact that they were not selected does not mean that they are not good artworks, which our jury regretted. All objects exist not only in space, but also in time, and each moment it presents a different state, with different people and things, thus creating different relationships, and even if it disappears completely, it will leave its ‘cause’ for the future ‘result’. Nowadays, works of art are still in the hands of their creators, and in our minds they are still in their initial form in the image. “东临碣石,首饰入地”便是本次第五届展览的内容,我们依然面向全球征集作品,唯独不同的是本次不限定作品的题材和概念;待我们选出我们认为值得反复推敲和观摩的作品,便在中国海边“东临碣石”的地方将它们埋入土里;让它们真实得经历自然和时间的洗礼,直到两年后(2026年,也将会是我们VONMO下一个展览计划的开始)将其挖出,并如同博物馆里的文物一般举办一场展览。
“是否能经得起岁月的洗礼和锉磨,经得住时间的考验”,在这里并不是指艺术作品的材质,而是指艺术本身!那些令我们沾沾自喜的艺术观点放置几年后,是否还能令我们满意,是否还能说服观众?或许多年后挖出来的当代首饰,它们就不再“当代”,就像我们去博物馆里看到的那些文物一样,成为过去式并被未来审视。所以它是一个“未来展”:“入地”的是艺术家们的希望和期待,在这个过程中,艺术将获得新的解读,艺术家们能通过等待而产生新的感受。当代首饰(的概念或形式)或许在当下已经“死”了,但我们充满创造力的艺术家会让它们重新活过来。同行们对当代首饰发展的所有忧虑,都是刺激我们前行的动机,因为“莫愁千里路,自有到来风”。
"Travelling eastward to Jieshi Mountain, seeding jewelry in the ground" ─ such is the content of this 5th exhibition: We are still collecting works from all over the world, but the only difference is that this time there is no restriction on the subject matter and concept of the works. After we choose the works that we think are worth reviewing and appreciating again and again, we would "travel eastward to Jieshi Mountain" on the coast of China and seed them in the ground, letting them go through the baptism of nature and time, until two years later (2026, which will be the beginning of our next exhibition program of VONMO), when they will be dug up and put on an exhibition like museum antiques. "Whether it can withstand the baptism and tempering of the years, and stand the test of time" ─ here, it refers not to the material of the works of art, but to art itself! Will the art views about which we are complacent still satisfy us after a few years, and are they still able to appeal to the audience? Dug up many years later, the contemporary jewelry works may no longer be contemporary", just like the antiques we see in museums, which become things of the past and are examined by the future. So, it's a "future exhibition": the hopes and expectations of the artists are "seeding", in which process art will be interpreted anew, and artists will produce new feelings through waiting. Contemporary jewelry (its concept or form) might already be "dead" at present, but our creative artists will bring them back to life. Notice after being shortlisted
1.收到入围通知(策展人邮件告知,请及时查看邮箱),请入围艺术家采用最结实抗摔的包装方式将作品安全打包好寄出,并邮件告知快递单号,便于我们追踪查询。艺术家们邮寄作品实物的时间截止于9月15日,请大家安排好时间(尤其国际快递,尽快咨询当地的快递公司)不要错失入地参展的机会。
2.入围艺术家只需承担将作品安全邮寄到VONMO的邮费,无需承担其他费用。当我们收到作品实物后,会邮件告知。3.主办方保留以下权利:自由展示特邀及入选作品,有权对参展作品进行自由拍照并公开免费使用该照片,公开免费使用作者的个人信息,用于展览的国内外宣传、作品集等公开印刷出版。4.待2026年展览结束后,VONMO将陆续寄出各位参展艺术家的作品、参展证书和展览画册。1.After receiving the notification of shortlisting (The curator will inform everyone by email. Please check your email in time), please use the strongest anti-crash packing method to safely pack your work and post it, and then inform us of the tracking number by email, so that we can track and query.The deadline for sending your work is the 15th of September, please arrange your time well (especially for international couriers, please consult your local courier as soon as possible) so as not to miss the opportunity of ‘SEEDING’ and the participation in the exhibition.2.A shortlisted artist only needs to bear the postage of safely posting your work to VONMO, and no other costs will be incurred. About Vonmo(万木) Exhibition Projects
Vonmo主理人李颖臻Felicia Li 与冯毓森从2014年开始于2016年正式成立万木Vonmo艺术首饰工作室。我们坚持探索当代艺术首饰设计与中国传统文化融合创新的方向。从2019年开始策划Vonmo“第一个五年计划”即为一年一届一主题,联合国际范围内的艺术家展现国内外的首饰艺术创作,营造一个纯粹、平等、公平、多元化、专业化的当代艺术首饰交流平台。Felicia Li, the director of Vonmo, and Yusen Feng officially established Vonmo(万木) Art Jewelry Studio in 2016, who began the preparation in 2014. We are committed to pursuing the innovative direction of integration between contemporary art jewelry and traditional Chinese culture. Since 2019, we have curated Vonmo’s 1st Five-Year Plan, namely once a year and a new theme for each. We associate international artists to show jewelry works at home and abroad with the aim of creating a pure, equal, fair, diverse, and professional exchange platform for contemporary art jewelry.
