430-meter Grand Canyon Glass Bridge

Today, after breakfast, you will be met by our guide and driver and then driven to start your exciting visit to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
We will explore the famous Golden Whip Stream deep in the valley. This totally 7.5 kilometers long brook is one of the most beautiful places in the whole forest park area. Take an inspiring roam along the whispering pristine water on the paved path to immerse into tranquil wonderland with fresh air, colorful blooming flowers in different seasons, lush vegetation, etc. and be prepared to encounter with some wild monkeys.
Then go to challenge Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, the longest and highest Glass Bridge in the world. Walk past the bridge and appreciate the grand view of the beautiful Canyon.

Yuanjiajie & Tianzi Mountain

On this day, after breakfast, visit Wulingyuan to get more highlights. First take a sightseeing bus to experience Bailong Elevator, the fastest elevator and also the tallest outdoor elevator in the world. Enjoy the 1.5 minutes to be shot from the valley bottom up to the pillar peak.
And then, hike amongst the multiple erupting stone columns at Yuanjiajie Scenic Area and open the mysterious “Pandora World”. During the exciting hike, get a good preparation to have an enviable look at the South Sky Pillar of around 150 meters high, the authentic prototype inspiring the “Avatar Hallelujah Mountain”; enjoy the best scenery at Enchanting Platform with tens and hundreds of beautiful stone peaks similar to a lot of nutritious bamboo shoots towering from the ground; also, closely watch the peculiar First Bridge of the World that is naturally made with an only 5-meter long stone platform linking the two peaks together to form the rare world wonder.
Then, we will continue to take a battery car to Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve which mainly includes grand valleys, mountains and forests, as well as various animals. The mountain rises 1,262 meters above sea level, which is always enjoying the reputation as “the king of all mountains”. Tianzi Mountain is known for 4 natural spectacles – the clouds of mist that circle the peaks of the mountain, the amazing views of the rising sun, the moonlit nights and snowcapped winter peaks.
After the exciting scenic visit, our guide and driver will escort you to Zhangjiajie downtown area for accommodation.

Phoenix Ancient Town

After breakfast, your guide and driver will escort to Phoenix Ancient Town which is about 200 kilometers from Zhangjiajie,taking 3.5 hours for driving.
Relax yourself in the Romantic Phoenix Ancient Town in the morning. With over 300 years’ history, it is located on the western edge of Hunan Province and next to Guizhou Province. Praised as the most beautiful tiny town in China, it sets an example of what villages were like before the start of modernization. In the town dozens of lanes are paved with stones that run between the wooden houses built on stilts. Generations of local people have stepped on the lanes and worn them down bit by bit.
Phoenix Ancient Town offers a totally different day views which would really bring you back to ancient time. Have a slow walk and feel the calmness and zen of this beautiful place. Take a small boat ride on the Tuojiang River passing through the most essence part of the old town (from Beimen Pier to Longevity Palace) to imagine what life was going in the past. Visit Former Residence of Shen Congwen to listen to the beautifully novel of “Border Town” which is Shen Congwen's masterpiece for its brilliant portrayal of Chinese rural life before the Communist Revolution. Enjoy more memorable time to have a look at the landmark of the ancient town - Rainbow Bridge and explore East Gate Tower, Wanming Pagoda, etc.
When night falls, every old house lights up and the whole atmosphere becomes festive, colorful and amazing. Take a relaxing walk and appreciate the fabulous night view of this ancient town.

Aizhai Bridge & Back to Zhangjiajie

In this morning, we will check out from the hotel and leave for Aizhai Bridge.
Surrounded by mountains, Aizhai Bridge is a charming place with a deep valley under it. When touring on a sunny day, you will see the white clouds, blue sky, and green trees in the valley contrasting finely with each other, creating a beautiful picture.
It must be a thrilling experience for you to explore the Aizhai Suspension Bridge, as you need to traverse the boardwalk by the side of a cliff, a part of which is a glass walkway. Besides, you can also take the sightseeing elevator to visit the Aizhai Bridge，and we will alsot visit the Tianwentai and Jidou Miao Village (吉斗苗寨), located by the edge of a cliff.
In the afternoon, drive back to Zhangjiajie City

Tianmen Mountain

Today is the last day of the trip.
in the morning everyone can have a good rest and spend a relaxing morning. After lunch, your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. On this day, you will make a great trip to Tianmen Mountain, another magnificent national forest park in Zhangjiajie City,known as the most beautiful "Hanging Garden" in the world.
Right here, hold your breath to take two scary walks on the cliff path circling the mountain body. One is the 60-meters long and 1.6-meters wide Glass Skywalk with transparent glass material 1430 meters above the bottomless valley, which makes you feel walking in the air in sunny days and fairyland in misty and cloudy days, while another must be the 1600-meters long Ghost-Valley Plank Road hanging on the cliff. Just step on and test!
After that, we gonna visit Tianmen Cave to see the giant hole on the mountain. Formed by natural pressing and collapsing into 131.5 meters high, 57 meters wide and 60 meters deep, this cave is really a rare wonder of the world. Next, walk downstairs along the super steep 999-steps with the highest inclination up to 45°, which is the only access to Tianmen Cave from the foot of the mountain for a lot of prayers worshipping there.

Aizhai Bridge
Being a highway bridge, Aizhai Bridge is one of the longest bridges in the world. It crosses the Dehang Grand Canyon and spans 1,176 meters, making it an engineering marvel in China. Other than a suspension bridge that conquered the natural barriers and created a thoroughfare, Aizhai Bridge in China offers a great platform for tourists to experience the magnificent views and gems of wisdom of human beings.
Overview of Aizhai Bridge
As a marvelous grand bridge with a long span in China, the construction of the Aizhai Bridge was not easy. The steep valley, complex terrain, villainous climate, and bad transportation made it difficult to build a bridge. The project started in October 2007 and finished in March 2012, with the constructors’ brilliant techniques and spirit of selfless dedication.
The Aizhai Bridge adopts a unique structural design, which is a completely separated structure of the towers and beams. Built according to the terrain of the surrounding mountains, the towers and the stiffening steel truss girder directly connect to tunnels on the cliffs. Designed based on geological conditions, the tunnel anchors and gravity anchors are in harmony with the surrounding landscapes
Zhangjiajie
National Forest Park
Zhangjiajie is located in central China, northwest Hunan Province, over 1,000 kilometers from both Shanghai and Beijing. Zhangjiajie is famous for its precarious peaks, limpid streams, dense forests, and large karst caves. It was thrust into foreigner travelers' eyes after the movie Avatar. The Hallelujah Mountains in Avatar were inspired by Heavenly Pillar in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. In 1982, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park became China's first national forest park.
Tianmen Mountain
Tianmen Mountain takes its name after Tianmen Cave, a natural karst cave under the mountain. The mountain is relatively gentle, full of old trees, winding vines, mosses, stalagmites, sits upon 494 acres. The rare mountaintop scenery makes it the most beautiful sky garden over the world. The principal attraction on Tianmen Mountain, Tianmen Cave is a grand karst cave 431 feet high, 187 feet wide and 197 feet deep spanning under the mountain. From afar, the cave looks like a way up to the heaven. Hence it got the name, Tianmen, meaning Heavenly Door. The cableway in Tianmen Mountain is the world's longest at a length of 7,455 meters. It begins in the City Garden downtown, and ends on the summit.
Bailong Elevator
With a vertical height of 335 meters and a running height of 326 meters, Bailong Elevator is acknowledged as the highest sightseeing elevator in the world. It mainly contains two parts in structure: 154 meters’ solid well inside the mountains and 172 meters’ steel derrick against the mountains. Bailong Elevator goes up and down very fast with a speed of 5 meters per second, which can finish a height of 326 meters within 66 seconds. It connects Yuanjiajie, Tianzi Mountain, Golden Whip Stream and other main scenic areas together.
Fenghuang
Ancient Town
Fenghuang Ancient Town, aka Phoenix Ancient Town and Feng Huang Gu Cheng in Chinese, is situated on the western boundary of Hunan Province in an area of outstanding natural beauty where mountains, water and blue skies prevail. 'Fenghuang' is Chinese for 'Phoenix', the mythical bird of good omen and longevity that is consumed by fire to be re-born again from the flames. It is so called as legend has it that two of these fabulous birds flew over it and found the Fenghuang Town so beautiful that they hovered there, reluctant to leave.
Fenghuang Ancient Town is the subject of a Chinese ink painting with elegant pavilions, peaceful water, splendid hanging houses and verdant mountains. The town has kept its original appearance and flavor from its inception 300 years ago. It is no wonder that a New Zealand writer claimed the town as one of the most beautiful cities in China.
Golden Whip Stream
Sceneries along the Golden Whip Stream are most enchanting in the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. This stream, which is 5.7 kilometers long, is named after the Golden Whip Rock that it flows by. Golden Whiplash Rock rises 380 meters above water. The whole rock is made of quartz sand which reflects the golden light of the sunshine. The main attraction spots here include: the Welcoming Guests Rock, Golden Whip Rock, Reunion Rock and the Purple Grass Pond.
Grand Canyon Glass Bridge
Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge, aka Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon skywalk, is the world’s longest and highest glass bridge, hanging over Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. Looking from a distance, it looks like a piece of white silk floating between the clouds and fog, hence it is also called Yuntiandu, meaning “a way of clouds to the sky”. It is 430 meters long and is paved with transparent glass, to give visitors an extremely thrilling feeling and a better perspective of sightseeing.
Tianzi Mountians
Tianzi Mountain provides stunning views of peaks, which rise one after another. It is known as 'the Monarch of the Peak Forest'. At the top of the mountain, you can see the full extent of the Wulingyuan Scenic Area. There are four wonders: the Sea of Clouds, the Radiance of the Moonlight, Rays of Sunshine and the Snow in winter.
