Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, along with four other departments, jointly issued the 'Notice on the Issuance of the 'Smart Tourism Innovation and Development Action Plan''. This initiative encourages and supports cultural and museum venues to utilize technologies and equipment such as VR (Virtual Reality), AR (Augmented Reality), and the metaverse to construct new spaces for immersive smart tourism experiences and to cultivate new scenarios for cultural and tourism consumption.

In the autumn of 2023, the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games, the largest scale, most projects, and widest coverage in history, is about to kick off on the banks of the Qiantang River. The tribute work to the Asian Games by VCAN, leading the EPC general package (Section Four): the Zhijiang Branch of Zhejiang Provincial Museum, as the largest single building of the Zhejiang Culture Center, is entrusted with the mission of carrying history, transmitting knowledge, and displaying culture.

In the creation of the intelligent upgrading of the new building for the Chaoyang Museum, VCAN combines sculpture, painting, and multimedia digital technology to present historical events through immersive scene displays. We use naked-eye 3D digital technology to recreate the royal garden landscape of a thousand years ago. The overall design integrates the cultural connotation of the Chaoyang region, striving to create an exhibition space that not only reflects the weight of history but also exudes a contemporary atmosphere, providing viewers with an ultimate feast for the eyes and the spirit.

The Chinese Huaiyang Cuisine Museum

中国淮扬菜博物馆位于扬州卢氏盐商古宅，是扬州晚清众多盐商古宅中规模最大保存最完整的一座。通过盐商文化和淮扬菜文化的充分结合，由维迈VCAN匠心打造，集淮扬菜展览展示、传统文化研究、淮扬名宴品鉴、观光游览互动等功能于一体，通过实物、资料的展示，融合前沿的数字多媒体技术运用，从淮扬菜文化、风味体系、扬州烹饪技艺的发展、菜系特点、扬州名店名宴等多方面展示淮扬菜发展的历史精髓和突出成就，彰显古往今来“吃在扬州”的魅力和风采，进一步放大扬州“三都”品牌效应和文化魅力。荣获2021-2022年度第二批中国建筑工程装饰奖。

The Huaiyang Cuisine Museum of China is located in the ancient residence of the Lu Family, a prominent salt merchant family in Yangzhou, and it stands as the largest and most well-preserved among numerous ancient salt merchant residences in late Qing Dynasty Yangzhou. Crafted with ingenuity by VCAN, the museum combines the rich cultures of salt merchants and Huaiyang cuisine. It integrates functions such as exhibitions and displays of Huaiyang cuisine, research on traditional culture, tasting of famous Huaiyang dishes, and interactive sightseeing tours. Through the display of artifacts and materials, coupled with the integration of cutting-edge digital multimedia technology, the museum showcases the historical essence and outstanding achievements of Huaiyang cuisine development from various aspects such as Huaiyang cuisine culture, flavor system, development of Yangzhou culinary skills, characteristics of culinary styles, and famous restaurants and dishes in Yangzhou. It highlights the charm and elegance of 'eating in Yangzhou' throughout history, further magnifying the brand effect and cultural charm of Yangzhou's 'Three Capitals.' It was awarded the China Architectural Engineering Decoration Award for the second batch in 2021-2022.

'Ai Lian · Jing Lian - Cultural Relics Talk about Integrity' is an annual original special exhibition jointly created by Xiamen Museum and VCAN. In terms of the exploration of the metaverse space, VCAN focuses on the theme of the special exhibition and takes the offline exhibition as the blueprint to break through the traditional exhibition mode to create a digital museum -'Ai Lian · Jing Lian - Cultural Relics Talk about Integrity'metaverse space. The cloud rendering technology is used to realize real-time super-realistic interactive experience, so that those who cannot visit the site can roam a cultural treasure house of 'lotus and integrity' dialogue at home, so that those who are not satisfied with the exhibition can review and admire the great integrity ancestors and experience the long-standing 'integrity culture'.

Located in the heart of Qidong City, the thermal power plant was once the sole 'power source' for Qidong, representing the transformation of light for a generation of Qidong residents and leaving an indelible mark on the city's growth. In this project, the VCAN team adopts the theme of 'A Gift from the Old Times, A New Life for the Old Power Plant,' transforming the industrial heritage site, which has carried more than 60 years of collective memories for the people of Qidong, into a unique landmark for the comprehensive cultural tourism development of Qidong under its new development goals.

The China Qianhu Wetland Science Museum is located within the national 5A-level scenic area of Qianhu Wetland Park. It is a national-level professional science museum with wetlands as its main theme, integrating exhibition, tourism, experience, education, and research. After undergoing renovation, the Qianhu Wetland Science Museum has reopened with a brand new look, thanks to VCAN's exhibition design, layout, and multimedia interaction. The museum shines anew and was honored with the Gold Award at the 12th China International Space Design Competition in 2021 for architectural decoration design.

维迈VCAN为城市客厅共设计了“文明肇始，皖源潜山，福地舒州，锦绣潜阳”四个单元。从亿万年的地质演变开始，追溯到新时期时期薛家岗遗址、太平塔，山谷流录摩崖石刻，野寨抗日阵亡将士公墓，所有的一切都是各个时期的文明留下的脚印。

VCAN designed four units for the city living room: 'the beginning of civilization, the source of Anhui Qianshan, the blessed land of Shuzhou, and the beautiful Qianyang'. From the geological evolution of hundreds of millions of years, to the new period of Xuejiagang site, Taiping tower, valley flow record cliff stone carvings, and the cemetery of the fallen soldiers of the Anti-Japanese War, all of these are the footprints of the civilization of various periods.

VCAN focuses on the urban spirit of Zhangjiagang, which emphasizes unity, hard work, striving for progress, self-imposed pressure, and daring to be the first. With urban development (smart city) as the main theme, the Cloud Base Exhibition Hall is divided into five main areas: the Comprehensive Exhibition Area, the Resource Matching Area, the Case Experience Area, the Tail Hall, and the Multi-functional Service Area.

本科技展厅为环形结构，每⼀条向⼼的环形都承载展示的内容和功能，以产品的特性为出发点，将整个展厅的核⼼产品聚焦于展厅中央。从互动到灯光秀再到3D Mapping的投影秀，以数字内容的多变，演绎豪威产品及其应⽤领域。

The technology exhibition hall adopts a circular structure, where each concentric circle carries the content and functions of the exhibition. Starting from the characteristics of the products, the core products of the entire exhibition hall are focused on the center of the hall. From interactive displays to light shows and 3D mapping projection shows, the versatility of digital content is used to interpret Howie's products and their application areas.

The China Mobile “Lianchuang+' Yunnan 5G Open Laboratory

维迈VCAN将用这个具有划时代意义的作品——中国移动“联创+”云南5G开放实验室带大家领略全新的5G未来。该项目曾与华为技术有限公司、中兴通讯股份有限公司联手在2020年国家工业和信息化部主办的国内5G领域权威赛事——第三届“绽放杯”5G应用征集大赛中荣获智慧园区专题赛三等奖！

VCAN will use this groundbreaking work, the China Mobile 'Lianchuang+' Yunnan 5G Open Laboratory, to showcase the new future of 5G. This project, in collaboration with Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. and ZTE Corporation, won the third prize in the Smart Park Special Competition at the third 'Blossom Cup' 5G Application Collection Competition, a prestigious event in the domestic 5G field hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2020.

VCAN's technology brand exhibition hall, created for the outstanding company in China's non-ferrous metal industry, Nanshan Aluminium, not only serves as a window to showcase the comprehensive strength of 'Chinese brands,' but also won the Bronze Award at the 8th China International Space Design Competition for architectural decoration design.

The Wuhan Airport New Town Exhibition Hall

在本展馆设计中，维迈VCAN围绕'城市之翼，空港启航'的主题，表达了空港国际商务新城的未来规划让武汉经济发展如虎添翼的喻意。设计灵感源自航空文化，提取天河机场航站楼、“机翼”结构中的曲线元素，结合艺术灯光，融合交织打造极具力度与速度的独特之作。

In the design of this exhibition hall, VCAN revolves around the theme 'Wings of the City, Airport Taking Off,' expressing the future planning of the Airport International Business New Town, which symbolizes the rapid economic development of Wuhan. The design draws inspiration from aviation culture, extracting curved elements from the terminal building of Tianhe Airport and the 'wings' structure. Combined with artistic lighting, it creates a unique masterpiece that embodies strength and speed.

The Yangzhou Software Park Exhibition Hall

维迈VCAN以“历史、创新、科技、可持续”为设计定位，借鉴扬州的“山”“水”“少女”概念，用其色彩；以现代及科技的造型元素，借以营造极具现代与科技却又不失扬州特有的山水意境及人文色彩的设计感，提供办公智能一体化策略。

VCAN's senior design team from the VCAN Group adopts the design positioning of 'History, Innovation, Technology, and Sustainability.' Drawing inspiration from the concepts of 'mountains,' 'water,' and 'maidens' in Yangzhou, they use their colors. By incorporating modern and technological design elements, they create a design that is both modern and technological while retaining the unique landscape and cultural colors of Yangzhou, providing an integrated strategy for office intelligence.

博物馆是文化遗产的守护者和传承者，不仅能够促进社会的文化发展和进步，同时也能增强人们对文化遗产的尊重和保护意识。维迈VCAN将继续完善AR、VR等最新人工智能技术，将创新科技融入到各个文博展馆作品之中，加强5G+智慧旅游协同创新发展，使全国各地的文化再一次鲜活地展现在大众视野，以博物馆为载体，激发教育和研究的无限可能。
