The 2024 Haikou International Golf Invitational will be held at Mission Hills Haikou Golf Club on November 16-17, 2024. This is a "green invitation filled with sunshine," inviting golf enthusiasts from around the world to swing here and compete for the pinnacle.
Unique Format and Scale of the Event
The 2024 Haikou International Golf Invitational is combined with the 8th Amateur Golf Super League National Finals to form a "tournament within a tournament," held concurrently at the same venue. The event features both team and individual awards, with the team prize money reaching up to 40,000 yuan.
To enhance the global influence of the Haikou International Golf Invitational and to cultivate and create a local boutique golf event brand, as well as to further expand the inbound tourism markets from Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, South Korea, and other regions and countries, the event has increased its invitation efforts to teams from these places.
So far, 57 domestic teams and 11 overseas teams have registered, including teams formed by KOLs from the domestic and international golf community. This marks a record high in both participating teams and participants in golf team events hosted in Haikou and Hainan.
The competition will consist of two rounds of team stroke play. Each team will field 8 players, who will start simultaneously on 8 different courses at Mission Hills. The format and scale of the competition are unique nationwide.
