Reuters Beijing Pictures and Video is looking for an intern to join our team starting Oct 2024
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct in-depth research to assist in story conceptualisation on topics of interest to the combined Visuals (Pictures and Video) team.
2. Monitor and flag relevant news stories from local and international media.
3. Monitor and handle registrations for newsworthy events.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Must be a current university student studying in China. All majors welcome.
2. Native fluency in Chinese with excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
3. Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
4. Strong interest in news and visual content.
5. Ability to commit to the Beijing-based internship for at least 6 months, with no less than 4 days a week. Shifts on weekends may be required.
The remuneration is 110 RMB per day.
